Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) is warning students and the public about a fake
online message claiming that the NELFUND Student Loan registration portal is
open. The message includes a misleading application link, which NELFUND has
disassociated itself from.
According to
Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director of Strategic Communications, the only official
website for NELFUND student loan applications and updates is www.nelf.gov.ng Students and the public are advised
to disregard any unauthorized links or messages requesting personal information
or promising loan disbursement outside the official NELFUND platform.
NELFUND
emphasized that it remains committed to ensuring eligible Nigerian students
have access to financial support through a transparent and secure process. For
verified updates and official information, students are encouraged to visit the
NELFUND official website or follow their verified social media channels.
