Nigerian Afrobeats star Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as CKay, has officially ended his recording deal with Warner Music South Africa, closing a significant chapter in his music journey.
CKay, famed for global hits like Love Nwantiti and Emiliana, described the decision not to renew the contract as “mutual and strategic.”
“Every journey has a beginning and an end, and my journey with Warner Music South Africa was a very important one, which I’m grateful for. Now it’s time for me to explore new energy and new horizons,” he said.
